Architectural Resources
We continue to augment the list of available resources for architects and specifiers:
- CEU Course: “Performance and Durability in Retail and Hospitality Design”
- Special-Lite sponsored this new course, made available through Architectural Record magazine. The course appears in article form in the August 2018 issue and is also available through the Architectural Record Continuing Education Center. Those seeking credential credits may do so by reviewing the written or online version and then taking the online quiz.
- Interactive Product Showcase
- As the name implies this is an interactive web page developed in partnership with Architectural Record where viewers can get an overview of our product line, market applications, case studies, videos, and more.
- Approved AIA/CES Training
- We offer two courses (1 learning unit credit each) to help professionals maintain their credentials. These are available in lunch-n-learn or other venues. FRP 101 offers a description of flush doors for commercial/institutional entrances. FRP 401 gets into the science behind FRP doors.
- Samples and Literature
- Through our online fulfillment center, products samples, color chips, and product literature are available for ordering. Most shipments take place place the same day as ordering. For those who need this service regularly, self-service site credentials are available. For occasional use, we are here to assist.
- Special-Lite Website Resources
- Through our online Resource Center, we make available all of the following product information: specifications, color charts, architectural details, CAD drawings, test results, instructions, marketing literature, estimate/order forms, and more. These resources are also available through individual product pages.
- Other Online Resources
- Third party service providers also host Special-Lite product information. For example, Sweets provides specification-related information on 61 Special-Lite products. Similar information is available from 4specs.com, Construction Specifier, and others. Our product information is also available through web-based subscription services.
