We have been seeing new calls for documentation to the effect that Special-Lite complies with FDA and/or USDA related regulations. Such calls emerge for applications related to food or beverage processing and pharmaceutical work.

We have also seen building specifications that call for related product certifications. As a result, we have put together a new document related to this issue. One key takeaway is that neither of these organizations “certify” building products. Despite that, our compliance document could be used when such certifications are mistakenly demanded.
