Special-Lite Celebrates Ninth Expansion, New Corporate Headquarters

On Oct. 15, 2025, Special-Lite officially celebrated the grand opening of its expanded manufacturing facility and new corporate office, almost a year after breaking ground.

Former and current employees, members of the community, customers, and partners came from across the U.S. to help commemorate this milestone, which included an official ribbon cutting, meet-and-greet, fresh-made gourmet mini-donuts from Olly’s Donuts, celebratory craft beer from Decatur-based brewery Final Gravity, goodie bags, tours of the new space, and an incredible amount of optimism for what lies ahead.

“On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank everyone who took time out of their day to come and see this incredible step forward for our 50-plus-year-old company,” said Alex Esposito, President and COO of Special-Lite.

He added that it was an incredible honor to showcase how far we’ve come, this incredible facility, and a look at where we’re headed.
