Slider Track For Type II Aluminum Framing
The Omega 487 Slider is a sliding door system designed for use with the Omega Type II Interior Aluminum Framing System. Omega is designed to provide a finished look to cased, rough openings. This sliding door system is designed for 4-7/8” wall systems (4.875” = 487 nomenclature).

- SLI Interior Aluminum Doors (Narrow, Medium, or Wide Stile)
- SL-14 Medium Stile Monumental Aluminum Doors
- SL-15 Wide Stile Monumental Aluminum Doors
- Maximum door height is 9 feet
- Maximum door weight is 200 lbs.
Slider Frame Finishes
- Standard anodized finishes include Clear and Black.
- Optional anodizing includes Champagne, Light Bronze, Medium Bronze, and Dark Bronze.
- Our Wood Expressions™ create realistic wood grain finishes, including Light Maple, American Cherry, Dark Cherry, and Dark Walnut.
- You can also choose from painted colors.
Glazing for Side Lite
- Omega lites are designed for ¼”, 3/8”, or ½” thick glass
- Both pull and push vinyl is used to secure the glass
Transoms
- No transoms are permitted above the 487 Slider and its entire pathway from open to close.
