Enhancements and Updates: Omega Interior Aluminum Framing and HMR-FRP Hardware Prep & Install Guide

Staying up to date with the latest products and guidelines is crucial in commercial construction. We have some exciting updates to share with you regarding our Omega Interior Aluminum Framing (see example in the photo above) and the Hardware Prep & Install Guide for our HMR-FRP Door. We made these changes to enhance your experience and provide more project options.

New Omega Interior Aluminum Framing Order Forms

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of three new Order Forms for Omega Interior Aluminum Framing, offering even more flexibility for your projects. These forms cover:

  1. Omega Interior Aluminum Framing – Single Door Frame with Transom Order Form: This form is perfect for designs incorporating a single door frame with a transom, providing a sleek and modern look.
  2. Omega Interior Aluminum Framing – Partial Sidelite Door Frame Order Form: This order form has you covered for projects that require partial sidelites alongside the door frame.
  3. Omega Interior Aluminum Framing – Cased Opening Order Form: This form is the one to use when you need a 3- or 4-sided cased opening frame.

Updated Omega Interior Aluminum Framing Order Forms

In addition to the new forms, we’ve updated the existing Omega Interior Aluminum Framing Order Forms released in June of this year. These updates follow industry standards and ensure consistency across all our offerings. You can expect a seamless experience when ordering the following frames:

And if your specific elevation needs to be listed, don’t worry. We’ve introduced the Omega Interior Aluminum Framing – Blank Elevation Form. You can use it with an attached elevation to meet your project requirements.

You can also download Clip Diagrams for each trim style from our Resource Center. These cover a 2-inch Miter, 2-inch Square, 1.5-inch Square, 1.5-inch Miter, 1-inch Square, and 1-inch Miter.

HMR-FRP Hardware Prep & Install Guide Enhancements

But that’s not all; we’ve also significantly improved the Hardware Prep & Install Guide for our Hollow Metal Replacement FRP Door to make your installation process smoother and more straightforward. Here are some of the key enhancements:

  1. Engraving Location Callout: We’ve added a callout in the reinforcement diagram to specify the location for engraving. This ensures precision in your hardware placement.
  2. Top of Door Shipping Labels: Every door that leaves our facility now includes updated shipping labels with clear and concise diagrams. This makes identifying and handling your products more accessible.
  3. Detailed Hardware Requirements: We’ve enhanced the hardware sections of the Hardware Prep & Install Guide to outline the specific requirements for each type of hardware. This provides more clarity and guidance.
